Original art created in commemoration of Lesley Ann Downey, the young victim of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, famously known as the Moor Murders. Just 10 at the time, Lesley was lured by these notorious monsters and left in a shallow grave to be forgotten.

This story has always stuck with me, and I feel it important to never forget those who never had the chance to carry through life. This painting was a memorial piece to her, who became a familiar name to me when I was just 10 as well.

This piece is not glorification of murder, but rather a commitment to those who should never be forgotten.
